From Software's Next Game Is "In The Final Stages Of Developement”

Hidetaka Miyazaki, director of the Souls-Bourne series, has stated in a recent interview with 4Gamer, that From Software's next unannounced game is approaching the end of it's development.

From Softwares Elden Ring

In a previous interview back in 2018, Miyazaki stated that From Software had been working on "three and a half" titles as far back as 2016. Since then, it has become apparent that the half-game that he was referring to was "Déraciné" for the PS4 VR, and the other two were none other than the highly acclaimed "Sekiro" and "Elden Ring". This leaves one more unannounced project that FromSoftware has been working on for the past six years. When asked if that game was on it's way, Miyazaki confirmed that indeed it was. And that it was in "the final stages of development".

There has been much speculation as to what this game could be. Many believe it could be the rumored "Armored Core 6" seeing as how earlier this year alleged screenshots and game details were leaked online by a user named "Red Licorice" on a Resetera forum. Red Licorice claims that they were part of a survey conducted by From Software on this unannounced title. The game is described as a "sci-fi game created by Hidetaka Miyazaki" that has "three-dimensional, dynamic action" and a "high degree of freedom and customization". The game is also described as a "third-person shooter mecha action title that lets you move around an overwhelmingly scaled map that represents a unique sci-fi world with dynamic mech action. You will face strong enemies and fierce battles both long and short-range using guns and blades.” If this rumor is true, it will be a return to From Software's roots. And with Miyazaki himself at the helm, you know it'll be a game worth playing.
